My name is Amy Dinsdale and I am 37 years old. I am a fully qualified and experienced Primary School teacher with 14 years teaching experience. I also have a degree in Early Childhood Studies and this coupled with most of my years being spent in Key Stage One has provided me with an excellent understanding of child development through the early years. I live in Greasby with my husband, 2 children and house cat. My son is 10 years old and attends Greasby Junior School. My daughter is 7 years old and currently goes to Greasby Infants but is looking forward to joining her brother at the Juniors from September.
I love art and enjoy craft activities, being outdoors, whether that is at the park or in the garden, going to the theatre and doing anything that involves spending time with my family. I am a kind, caring, thoughtful, hard- working, professional, trustworthy person who can be relied upon to provide a safe environment to care for children in my care.
My Experience
My teaching career spans 14 years and ranges from teaching in Key Stage 2 to my most recent position in Year 1. The most part of my career has been spent teaching in the infants and have also taught in Greasby Pre-School. I have loved my job but have now resigned my position to become a childminder so that I can focus all my knowledge in supporting children to learn in a caring home environment and to spend time with my own children. I have a playroom where most of the activities will take place but children in my care will have access to other approved areas to enable them to feel comfortable in a home setting. Children will be able to use the garden when supervised by myself.
I feel that my teaching career and my own experience being a mum has given me the skills to be a professional yet warm and caring childminder. I will care for children as if they are my own whilst remaining professional at all times. I have attended the 12 hour paediatric first aid course and am fully qualified. Myself and my husband also have enhanced DBS checks.
I am providing before and after school provision to and from Greasby Pre-School, Greasby Infant and Junior School, Our Lady of Pity Pre-school and Our Lady of Pity School. I am flexible and willing to discuss hours. I am also available for children aged 2 and above during the day. This is also flexible depending on spaces so ring to discuss.
I will be attending toddler groups in Greasby village to allow children to socialise with other children in different settings. They will regularly take visits to parks, amongst other outdoor experiences. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any queries.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Daily rate-£35 (7:30 am – 5:30pm)
Half day-£20 (7:30 am- 12:30pm) (12:30pm-5:30pm) Times are flexible
Before school-£6 (7:30am till drop off)
After school-£12 (pick up roughly 3:15pm-5:30pm)
Both before and after school- £15
£5 per hour for additional unsociable hours
