About Me

Worked as a qualified primary school teacher for 3 years. Currently working as a Nanny, with over 5 years experience. Currently available for any temporary, part-time, holiday or emergency help. Happy to travel.

I am a nurturing, creative, trustworthy and energetic nanny who is motivated to ensure children are happy, healthy and well behaved. I am punctual and prompt with the flexibility to provide high quality childcare. I have experience of both shared and sole charge childcare roles with a wide range of ages and abilities. I am always encouraging children to reach their full potential and promoting active learning through purposeful play. I believe that children thrive when they feel loved, happy and secure and this is my core focus, with lots of fun and laughter thrown in too. I am a glass half full nanny who is kind, loving and always smiling.

My Experience

Full Time Nanny – Current role
Providing all childcare duties for a 3-year-old boy and 3-month-old girl; preparing meals/bottles, planning and providing fun and engaging activities to promote learning and development, organising their social diary, dressing, bathing, organising bedroom/playroom and toys, putting to bed and general everyday childcare. Most importantly, ensuring they are happy and cared for throughout the day. Travelled abroad with sole care of little boy multiple times.

Full Time Primary School Teacher – Lyppard Grange Primary School, Worcester – 2019-2022
I have taught Year 2 (ages 6-7) for the past two years and have loved every single minute. My key responsibilities have included establishing and maintaining relationships of trust and understanding with all children, creating a safe and secure environment where children can learn, planning and delivering both engaging and inclusive lessons following the National Curriculum, working closely with parents and carers, assessing children’s learning and supporting children with all of their educational, emotional and well-being needs.
Although I have absolutely loved being a teacher, and will one day return to the profession, I love and miss the adventure of being a nanny, be it a walk in the park to find fairies, quiet time reading together or building a fortress in the garden!

Private Ad-Hoc Nanny – Cotswold Angels 2018 - current
A mixture of sole and shared roles for a variety of families both local and visiting, with a wide range of ages and abilities from 3 months to 12 years. Providing all childcare duties from bathing, dressing, putting to bed, preparing meals and general everyday childcare. Most importantly, ensuring the children were happy and cared for throughout the day. Before becoming a full-time teacher, I worked with a couple of local families daily and created some great relationships. I still work with Cotswold Angels now, offering occasional babysitting on weekends and during the school holidays.
