About Me
Our home in West Wick offers a warm and friendly, child-centred environment. Childcare has always been a passion of mine, I love supporting children through each developmental milestone and nurturing their confidence and self esteem. I firmly believe children thrive in an outdoor environment and learn best through play. I enjoy creating rich, child-centred learning experiences that challenge and inspire. We spend lots of time outdoors either in our large secure garden playing with our family dog Paddy the cocker spaniel and our rabbit Flopsy and two guinea pigs Rosie and Jill, or out and about exploring local nature such as the woods or the beach. We visit regular toddler groups and Forest School to support social development and nurture a love for the outdoors. I childmind with my two year old son and offer school drop off and collection to St Annes @ Hewish & West Wick which is where my five year old daughter attends school.
My Experience
I gained a degree in Early Years while working at a local nursery as a nursery nurse. I was quickly promoted through the ranks to the position of Deputy Manager. I have hands on experience working with children and have liaised with professionals on a regular basis. I also have experience as a parent as I am mum to two young children.
