About Me
I am a mum of one; my daughter born 01/09/21. I'm new to all aspects of raising a child, and am seeking some childcare support for a couple of mornings/ afternoons a week. Ideally the childcare offered has some shared interest in parenting styles I have mentioned below. I currently live in Batheaston and although now a full time mum my previous work is as a Market Gardener. I love the outdoors, nature and creativity and am trying to bring both of those things into the world and my daughters world.
My Requirements
I am looking for local, part time childcare options. So far it has just been the two of us hanging out and I am seeking a bit of time to get stuff done and I believe my daughter would appreciate some time with other children in a new setting (I could be wrong here but would like to give her a chance to see).
I would love to find something suited to both my daughter and our wishes for her as parents. We are trying to follow natural, gentle, attachment and aware parenting and are seeking like minded care givers, nurseries. We are also big believers in the power of free play and contact with nature. Montessori, Steiner, Forest School all appeal to us with regards to their emphasis on the above but should a childminder be interested in or trained in any of these things we would love to hear from you.
My daughter is fun loving, friendly, active and likes to give things a try on her own. She likes both independent play and interacting with other children.
