About Me

I’m a nanny currently and I have 5 years of nanny experience with children from 1-12. I currently nanny for two school age boisterous boys so I am very used to running around after them!

I would describe myself as bubbly, bookish and bountiful! My favourite thing to do with the kids I nanny is being creative with them so they can express themselves through art and crafts. I also love the outdoors and enjoy searching for nature walks/various parks around London. I’m also keen on encouraging reading and expanding their vocabulary too.

A little about me, I enjoy yoga and keeping active, I sketch/paint as a hobby and love to read everyday.

Ultimately I am really looking for a position where I feel a part of the family and where I can continue my nannying career with and have fulfilling experiences with the children :)

My Experience

Currently now nanny a 3 year old boy, my duties involve before and after-playgroup pick up, full days of activities, feeding him nutritious meals, facilitating play dates, days out local and in the city, helping with educational development.

I worked in St Thomas Playgroup to help out with facilitating breakfast, lunch time, outdoor play, story time, sports and reading to a class of 20 children ages 2-4.

I nannied two boys (6-9) for over a year. Duties involved after-school pick up, helping with homework, days out, feeding snacks and light housekeeping.

I’ve looked after Ellis (now 3) since he was a few months old on an adhoc basis. This would involve duties such as taking him on days out, bottle-feeding, nutritious meals and snacks and a healthy night-time routine when babysitting. I kept Ellis entertained with nursery-age appropriate activities, organising playdates and taking him out on trips. I cooked nutritious meals, prepping healthy snacks, light housework.

I was the sole-charge nanny for Charlotte (6 at the time), and her brother Harry (12 at the time). I was responsible mainly for after-school pick up, but also full-time during the holidays in which I organised activities for them to do e.g. museums, arts and crafts, sports clubs, play dates. I also made nutritious meals for all the family, light housekeeping, looking after two family dogs and running light errands.

My Qualifications

I have worked at St Thomas Playgroup, I am currently volunteering for Early Years Childcare centres and nursery’s for 0-5 and I have a certifications for Safeguarding courses. I have a First Class Honours journalism degree and I also have a certification for a separate academic course I completed. My Childcare experience is through the various Nanny/childminding/babysitting jobs I have undertaken over the past five years.

My Availability

I am looking for a part-time position ideally spread over Monday-Friday but I am flexible and more than happy to take on any babysitting over the evenings and weekends.
