About Me

I am a highly-skilled, creative, energetic, and compassionate individual with over 20+ years of experience working with children. I started my journey as a mother, raising two wonderful children. My son is currently travelling and my daughter is at University. In 2003, I became a childminder and accomplished an ‘Outstanding’ grade from Ofsted, demonstrating my commitment and dedication to providing children with high-quality care and education. My ability to be kind, intuitive, patient, and organised led me to utilise my skills and venture into a group environment. I have worked in a Children’s Centre, and an American School, and currently work in a private school in Ealing. I gained my Post Graduate Certificate in Education and Early Years Teachers Status and work a dual role as a Nursery Teacher and Manager.

Although I enjoy working within a group environment, I would like to focus on being a nanny, creating fun, busy, happy memories, and developing trusting and good working relationships with a family. I am a good communicator, believing in openness and honesty, and always do my best to listen and find solutions rather than create problems. I encourage children to be polite, well-mannered, kind, and caring. I always offer praise and encouragement to build their self-esteem and confidence and promote positive behaviour using age-appropriate strategies. Healthy eating and a good diet are significant for their growth and development and therefore, I am happy to prepare nutritious meals. I will support children's cleanliness and hygiene routines, if required, and maintain tidy and organised areas where the children play and sleep. I enjoy outdoors, gardening, baking, puzzles, drawing and crafts, helping keep children entertained and stimulated and providing opportunities for conversations and friendship.
