About Me
I am a kind, caring, young adult currently studying at university in Canterbury. I live locally in Whitstable but have my own car so am able to travel. I have worked in a nursery setting with children for 4 years during my college course and working as cover staff upon completion and I have volunteered in 2 school settings working with children who ranged in ages. I am reliable and follow instructions well and always strive to give the best service I can and make the children I look after comfortable and valued as well as ensuring they have fun!
My Experience
I have achieved a Level 3 technical diploma & Level 2 certificate in childcare and education and therefore worked in nursery and school settings for 3 years. Following this achievement I have been employed as cover staff at a nursery setting part time during the summer period. This previous year I have been studying at university completing the first year of my Psychology degree in Canterbury. I have also been volunteering at my local dance school teaching children aged 5 to 6 ballet and modern dance. Alongside this I have experience volunteering for the charity Mind, teaching children in year 3/4 in their school setting about mental health and how to cope with feelings of anxiety and depression. Friends of my mum have asked me to babysit in the past and I have looked after children from the ages of 3 to 12 years.

My Availability
Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm everyday however I can do Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings and most Saturday evenings.
