About Me

Hello!

A little about me- I am a 30 year old female, living in Great Barr with my long-term partner. I have been working in education and childcare since the age of 18.

My passion is working with children - seeing them thrive, learn and grow are just a few perks of the job!

My nature is very calm, and I would describe myself as very caring and considerate. I am very maternal by nature, hence why I love working with children.

I have a full, clear DBS on the update service. I’ll be happy to supply a copy upon request. I also have a full, clean driving license and my own car.

My Experience

My experience of working with children spreads across a wide range of ages - from newborn to 16 years old. I have also worked in many different types of settings - including schools (infant and primary), nurseries, sports clubs, holiday clubs, childminding/ proxy parenting, and tutoring (1:1 and small groups).

I have also worked closely with SEN children - some of these needs include Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, EAL, Global Delay, MH, Behavioural difficulties, S&L difficulties, wheelchair users and physical disabilities.

I understand that before leaving your child with me, you will want to know me inside out - which I’m totally aware of and comfortable with. I’m happy to share my CV with you, alongside answering any further questions you may have.

My Qualifications

I have 8 A*-C GCSE's, including Maths, English and Additional Science.

I hold a Level 3 in Childcare & Education (I Equivalent to 3 A-Levels).

I am First Aid Trained.

My Availability

I am available weekdays only - both term time and during school holidays.
I am currently looking for part time hours, and I’m pretty flexible with my availability.
