About Us
Crank Nursery is set in a semi-rural tranquil area of St Helens and looks out on beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It was established in September 1990 and caters for children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. It has been fully refurbished in 2019 and the rooms are generously proportioned to offer a fantastic learning environment for your child. We also have a large outdoor play area which is accessible to all children,
We have 5 separate rooms based on age and developmental ability.

We provide high quality childcare in a safe, happy and stimulating environment, with staff giving emphasis to the development of each child’s confidence and independence through play. Your child will be cared for by a key person who will help them settle into the nursery. Our staff are highly qualified, with a wealth of knowledge and experience and all hold a paediatric first aid qualification.
Meals are prepared by our full-time qualified cook who serves healthy, nutritionally balanced meals and snacks made with fresh ingredients. All dietary requirements are catered for.
We are a non-profit making organisation and we are also a registered charity.
