Hello Everyone, I’m Charli. I am a young, energetic and bubbly individual who has always had a passion for working with children and watching them grow into their full potential with a little helping hand from adults. I grew up in a large family where my interest of children developed watching my siblings and other relatives grow and develop day by day intrigued me and when it came to deciding careers I had no doubt in my mind. I made it my duty to make sure the little ones in my care was unharmed, safe and most importantly happy and learning. This lead a great start to my path.
My Experience
Ever since completing college with a Level 3 Health and Social Care I wanted to know more about children so I began work in a private nursery as a nursery assistant and began my Level 3 Early Years Child Care while learning all policies and procedures to ensure children we’re kept safe in my care. While working I also babysat and nannied for family friends on days off and weekends with children of various ages and planning various activities while also helping the parents with jobs around the house! This soon helped me in my career as when I completed my course my employer saw great potential in me and immediately promoted me to a room leader managing up to 16 age 2-3 year olds, arranging activities, delegating a small staff team and liasing with parents regarding their children’s development. I am now also a deputy manager of a registered childrens home with children with challenging behaviours.
