My name is Gemma, I am currently a childcare practitioner in Suffolk, and have 6 years of experience working with children directly. My passion for childcare has only become more so due to my rewarding experiences in childcare. My hobbies include horse riding, photography, and going to the gym.
My Experience
I have been babysitting since I was 15, for a range of ages 10 months, to 16 years. I have always been in a childcare related education, and have been working within a nursery for the last 5/6 years. I’m currently in a baby room in a nursery taking children on from 3 months. Throughout my life, I have been continuously mature and maternal, resulting in a positive relationship with all children within my care.
My Qualifications
I have 6 GCSE's graded C and above, a college NVQ, an advanced apprenticeship award, and a Level 4 university certificate. As well as a full DBS check, and standard requirements for a childcare practitioner. As well as Makaton levels 1-4.
My Availability
I am flexible to work any time after work (evenings) and weekends (preferably with prior notice)

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
Babysitting fee can rise when looking after 2 or more children independently, and an hour would be additional if the travelling is longer than half an hour to/from the location.

We love Gemma and just have full confidence leaving our child with her. It's great to have somebody with so much childcare knowledge and our son seems quite happy for us to leave when she's here.... which proves how much he enjoys their evenings!
She has so much knowledge and many skills to bring to the role - we love the fact she can use Makaton so confidently.
