When I was looking for a Childminder for my son it took ages to find someone he was comfortable with. The moment we entered Alev's home my son started playing and after a few minutes talking to Alev, which never happened before.
Alev listened to our family's situation. I was in an impossible situation. Alev contacted other parents and rearranged her schedule just to accommodate my son.
Alev went an extra mile to make my son feel at home away from his home... and was very supportive and understanding of our family's difficult situation. I felt like I can entrust Alev with some very painful details.
Alev created a loving, calm and caring environment for little ones under her care. My son felt more like going to stay with his aunt rather than staying with a Childminder. Alev's home is beautiful and very clean. She always had healthy fruit and snacks available if I didn't put enough food in my son's lunchbox. My son learnt how to put his shoes and coat on. He learnt to recognise and sound letters out, not to mention adding 2 digit and 1 digit numbers together... all the things I sometimes don't have enough time to teach as a single working full-time mum with additional difficulties.
I couldn't ask for a better childminder for my youngest child and I've met a lot of nannies, babysitters, childminders throughout my life as I have 3 kids (2 of them are teenagers now). My son is still asking to see Alev even though he started going to the Primary school now. We're planning to keep in touch with Alev in upcoming many years.
