I am an enthusiastic “granny” who loves spending time with children and am patient and kind. I have 2 grown up sons, 3 stepchildren and 5 grandchildren.
My Experience
I have been a Nanny for three different families - the first when I left school after childcare training for 2 children aged 2 and 4 near Dorchester at Nether Cerne Manor, the second was in 1986 for a teacher at Bryanston School - this was for 2 children from newborn until school age and the most recent was for a Doctor and an Accountant again this was near Dorchester for 2 children from newborn to school age. I am still in touch with all the families and have just been made a guardian for the last 2 children I looked after. At present I am doing secretarial work.
My Qualifications
CSE Childcare qualifications from when I left school. No other formal qualifications but can provide excellent references. I have been DBS checked in the past and attended various first aid courses but these would need to be refreshed.
