About Me
My name is Harriet & I've grown up on a farm since day dot! Previous to my existence my family had an arable and dairy farm...
A few years after I was born the dairy was sold up - My Grandfather went into breeding beef cattle & my father set up a fencing contacting company.
Fast forward 20 odd years & here we are today...After 2 years at Easton Collage studying equine management, working on many different yards inc working for an International Eventer, going on to work for an Olympic Dressage Rider, Nannying for some of the most amazing children, working as bank staff in Nurserys, lambing several thousand sheep, calving many cows, working on pig units & finally (after I've taken a breath)sitting on my backside for several hours in a tractor.
In the last 15 years whist nannying, my father & I have established "Blackwater Highlanders' and breed pedigree Highland Cattle. Along side those we run a flock of Herdwick ewes & a flock of commercial ewes.
Some might say my nannying is old fashioned...But I am a true believer that sitting on a games console or watching TV all day isn't the way forward...building dens, climbing trees & just generally being out doors is the way forward.

My Experience
I’m from a farming family and have been nannying since I was 16 (& I’m now 29 ) - this has been for mainly farming family’s…for some families whilst I didn’t have the children I would work on the farms admin, arable/livestock, as a groom and Lambing&calving.
I’ve worked as bank staff in a nursery and nannied children from Newborn - 16years.
At one point I had 3 under the age of 4!!

Also have my tele ticket, first aid & I’m now in the process of renewing my DBS check (hadn’t realised it had ran out!)
