About Me
I am a very positive and easy going person who has a passion for caring for the needs of all children and ensuring all their development and personal needs are met in a fun and loving way. Im 28 and live with my partner in our home in Northbourne. Im a very active person and feel that fresh air and outdoor play is amazing for children's development. I play for a local ladies football team and train/play 2/3 evenings a week. I enjoy socialising with family and friends, going on walks or chilling at home! My mum used to be a child minder which I loved as I was brought up caring for children and therefore knew from a young age that I wanted to look after children as I grew older. Im quite musical and play the guitar, used to play the clarinet and piano. Any more info just ask! : )
My Experience
I started volunteering in a nursery when I was 14 after school and in the school holidays. From there I completed my qualifications stage by stage gaining experience in holidays clubs, after school clubs, baby unit and nursery. Throughout the years I have worked in different nurseries and taken on different roles such as afterschool club leader, baby room leader, duty mananger and deputy manager. I have also worked in a school 1-1 supporting a child with behavioural needs. During my time within nurseries I have supported children with different SEND/speech and language/EAL needs adapting activities/lanaguage depending on their abilities. I also have experience working in a forest school which is just fantastic!

NVQ level 3 in childcare and education
Foundation degree in early years
BA hons degree in early childhood studies
Early Years Teacher Status with PGCE
