About Me
I live in the centre of the city with my husband, we have 2 children our Daughter is 26 and living in London and our Son is 22 and at University, which means I have lots of time on my hands!!! Ideally I am looking for families in the city centre as I do not drive, that said, my husband is retired so very happy to drive me to and from work, if needed. I worked in Early Years for 18 years in schools and decided 2 years ago to leave the school sector and venture out on my own and become a Nanny, I have not looked back since and have worked for some wonderful families.
My Experience
I have worked in three schools over the past 18 years, Thorpe House Girls School, Langley Preparatory School and finally Taverham Hall Preparatory school (which merged with Langley Preparatory School) I have always been in the Early Years.
My Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development
Paediatric First Aid Course (12 Hour) Trained
Safe Guarding Trained
My Availability
I am happy to do long days and even if its one or two days a week, I don't mind a long day at all but would prefer to not work in the evenings if possible.

Alison has been our nanny since our youngest was 5months old. Prior to that, she was my eldest nursery key worker. She is warm, loving and fantastic with the children (and pets and adults!!). From day one, she was part of the family. We felt so lucky to have her for the 18months until my youngest started nursery, so much so that she is now a lifelong family friend. She’s accommodating and understanding, happy to do long hours, and the house was always beautiful when we got home. Additionally, she would make us lovely meals when we got home from a long day at work. She took everything in her stride, even helped us look after the various pets! And don’t get me started on her baking and ironing skills!!! also incredibly reliable, stood by us throughout pandemic as we work on the frontline, and didn’t shy away even when everything was uncertain. She has since saved us when I’ve had last minute childcare crises! I cannot recommend her highly enough!
