II AM NOT CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A POSITION. I was previously a children’s nurse, with 18 years of working with babies and children. I am fit and healthy and enjoy being outside walking, cycling and gardening. I am looking for a nanny/childcare position in and around Winchester.
My Experience
I have brought up 3 children who are now grown up. I have worked with children and their families during my nursing career. I love working with children and enabling them to learn and develop through play. I have learnt many skills throughout my time with my own children and also with those during my nursing career.
My Qualifications
Nursing Diploma in Children, RnChild. I have my paediatric first aid certificate. I have nursed babies and children with medical and surgical problems in a hospital environment for 7 years. The last 11 years have been looking after preterm and term infants and their parents again in a hospital. I am now retired but feel I would still like to work and feel I have many skills which could transfer to the care of young children within their home.
My Availability
I would prefer daytime care of children under 5, part time hours during the week, within proximity of where I live.
