About Me
I am a friendly, warm individual who loves to work and look after children. I have two children of my own, aged 4 and 2. My eldest child has neurodivergent needs. I also have a brother with special needs (Angelman Syndrome) , I am a great communicator and work hard at everything I do.
I am able to listen and meet the needs of what is required of me. During my time as a Mum, I have been able to see that the needs of a child always come first and strive to make children smile and feel safe. Their safety is the upmost important part of caring for them as well as making them happy.
I am enthusiastic and passionate and always like a challenge. I work well under pressure as well as relaxed environments. I am tenacious and punctual and take pride in the abilities to work hard.
My Experience
I have experienced from the time of being a mum two sons, I also have extensive experience with special needs due to my brother’s condition; Angelman Syndrome.
I have completed my Basic Life Support for Adults and Children whilst I studied my first year of Nursing at University. I am now studying to become a barrister (now a very different career path.)
My ability to look after children has been developed over many years, being the oldest sibling of four has allowed me to develop my skills and allows me to feel confident in working with children of various ages.
My Qualifications
11 x GCSEs A* - B
3 x A-Levels. Psychology - A, Law - A and Biology - D.
Completed Year 1 of Nursing at the University of Central Lancashire.
Currently in my postgraduate year of my Barrister Training Course and joint masters in Law.
My Availability
I am available part-time during the week (from around school pick-up time until 5:30pm) and some weekends. I am not currently available for overnight work.
