About Me
I love working with children and am enthusiastic about providing an inclusive and accepting environment for them to develop in. I am passionate about music, as well as outdoor activities, and being active and healthy. I would like the opportunity to help a family who need someone to assist them in whatever way is required. I am hard working, conscientious, and organised.
My Experience
I have experience as a classroom tutor, teaching classes of around 30 children, as well as leading small group and individual lessons, for ages 6 - 16. I have worked as a camp counsellor for a summer camp in California, being responsible for groups of children ages 8 -14, looking after their pastoral care and well-being, as well as running activities both indoors and outdoors. I have been involved in the running of camps and residential courses both as a scout leader and a music tutor, and I have worked in Mumbai teaching music to children aged 4 - 18 as part of a teaching programme.
My Qualifications
I have been through many first aid training courses however due to recent circumstances they have now expired. I will be renewing them as soon as possible.
My Availability
I am currently available at any times that may be required - days, evenings, nights, or weekends.
