About Me
Hello I'm Kate, an Ofsted registered childminder in New Addington.
I live with my husband, our 2 grown up daughters, my Mum and our pet cat, Rico.
It’s very much a home from home environment here for our little ones where they learn through play & responsive adult interactions with myself & my lovely assistant Jackie.
I offer a lovely big garden that the children thoroughly enjoy.
I think it’s important that the children experience outings & so visits to the library, local shops, garden centres, farms, soft play etc. are a big part of our weekly routine.
My Experience
I’ve been childminding since 2002 & over the course of that time I’ve had the pleasure of working with roughly 38 families & caring for 52 children.
I maintain really happy & healthy relationships with parents & because of this I’ve been graced with caring for siblings as they’ve come along over the years.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare & Education.
Both myself & my assistant have up to date paediatric first aid training & level 2 certificates in food safety.
We undertake yearly safeguarding training and regularly update our CPD with training relevant to childcare & education.
My Availability
I offer early years care (6months - 4yrs) throughout the year. Term time only contracts are available for parents/carers working in schools.
I also offer before & after school care for children attend the local primary school, Tudor Academy.
