About Me
My childminding business is called Little Otters based in Heighington, you can find me on other platforms as LittleOtters. My name is Becky Otter, I live in a bungalow with my partner Richard, our two children Ella and Bobby and our cat Pumpkin. I'm an Ofsted registered childminder, with a Good grade.
I will provide a high standard of care for children from 9 months to 4 years old, and before and after school care for children between 4 and 12 years. I am dedicated to creating a fun learning environment following the EYFS to help children to learn, develop and grow into happy confident children, in a fun, safe and caring environment. I am an advocate of learning through play and outdoor learning! We love nature and spend a lot of time outdoors. I will work closely with parents to ensure each child receives unique care, tailored to their individual needs.
We live in a bungalow in the beautiful village of Heighington, next door to the local school and close to nature, with cows, sheep and horses on our doorstep. An open plan versatile space on one level, with a large colourful sensory cottage style garden with different textures and levels. Surrounded by colourful flowers, herbs, vegetables, and fruit trees. With a dedicated play area, playhouse and mud kitchen.
My Experience
I’ve been a childminder for the last 2 years! I love my job! I worked as an Event Manger for a local charity for the last ten years specialising in family friendly and children’s events. I have always wanted to work with children and took the opportunity after having my two children.

My Availability
I am available for all day and wrap around care Monday to Friday. I open from 7.30am - 6.00pm. I offer drop off and collection at Heighington Millfield and Heighington pre school.
