Hi there! I'm a 24 year old who has been working in special needs support work for the last four years. I'm from Essex and moved to Glasgow six years ago to study. I've really enjoyed working in the care sector but I'm now keen to get more experience working with children, so I'm looking for a babysitting job with kids of any age. I love kids and am naturally good with them. I'm happy to cook and carry out house-keeping tasks, as well as any sort of activities with the kids, such as art and crafts, help with homework, reading and sports. My literacy and numeracy skills are strong. I'm available most times in the week. I am friendly, reliable and responsible, and have had experience babysitting for many different families.
My Experience
I have been working as a support worker for the last four years with adults with learning and physical disabilities. I have found this very rewarding but now would like to work with children. I have regularly babysat over the last 8 or so years, for various families with kids the ages of 3-14. This has included after school pick ups, preparing dinner, and overnight stays. I worked at a kids' arts and crafts club for a year, so have experience in creative activities with children. I was also a house-keeper for my elder neighbour prior to moving to Glasgow for university, and doing cooked her dinner 4 nights a week, so am confident in cooking and domestic duties.
My Qualifications
I have just completed a degree in English Literature with an award of First Class (Honours). I have GCSEs in English, Maths and Science as well as A Levels in English Literature, History of Art and Fine Art.

I am available most times during the week and weekend.
