My name is Sharon. I am a Taiwanese national living in Barton-Upon-Humber, UK. I am an English Literature graduate with a passion for the language and culture. I am punctual, organised, supportive and reliable with a good attention to detail. I am also passionate and good with children and pets.
My Experience
I have been working as Midday Supervisor in Baysgarth School since 2021. I also have experience in teaching and taking care of children in Taiwan.
I have both primary and secondary school experience (midday supervisor). I also have up-to-date school related trainings and enhanced DBS check.
Previously I worked as an English Teaching Assistant in Taipei for a year. I had my own class with 5 students aged 4-6 one hour a day on weekdays. I taught them English alphabet but the main duty was to encourage them to have interest in English language and to take care of them until their family picked them up. I also assisted foreign teachers with their teaching, carried out telephone tests for students after classes and kept track of students’ academic performance.
My Qualifications
I have experience in teaching and taking care of children in school in Taipei, Taiwan. My native language is Chinese Mandarin so if your children are interested in learning a foreign language, I can teach them as well.
My Availability
Working 12pm-2pm term time only. Half terms are free all day.
