About Me
I have a childminding business called Little stars Childminding. I have lots of information on my website. I share my family home with my partner and our children. We have 5 children between us, they are 19, 17 , 13, 12 and 9. I also have a grandaughter who is nearly 2 years old and comes to me a few days a week. I started childminding in July 2020 and was previously a community carer before I done my childminder training. I will provide childcare in a loving caring family enviroment, with lots of activities inside and out, having lots of fun, and learning new things every day. I am very creative, I love doing arts and crafts with my children and also baking. I have lived in Fakenham for 3 years now. I am also a very organised and reliable person. We have some pets which are 3 rabbits, 2 gerbils, a jack russell called Oscar and a Dachshund called Reggie. During working hours the dogs spend most of their time between their outdoor kennel and the large garden. We have a separate fenced off play area for the children.
I am available for after school collection from Fakenham school.
My Experience
I have children myself so have plenty of experience with children from newborn to teenagers. I have in the past looked after my friends children too for them. I used to look after 1 little girl for a friend a few days a week from being a few months old up until she turned 3 when I then moved away to Fakenham, I absolutely loved it so have been wanting to go into childcare since that and have now finally completed all my training. I also used to be a community carer so have been in the care sector for a few years. I am a very friendly and caring person and will undergo any extra training needed to do my job to the best of my ability. I had my first Ofsted Inspection in December 2022 and have added my report to the documents on here.
My Qualifications
I have completed a home based childcare course, full peadateic first aid, safeguarding, firesafety, level 2 food safety and hygiene, food allergy, delivering the eyfs, child development age 3-5, Eyfs and teaching, wellbeing in the early years, health and social care level 3, understanding behaviour that challenges and prevent covid-19.
My Availability
I passed my ofsted inspection to register as a childminder in July 2020. I am available Monday to Friday 7.30am till 5.30pm. I am available for children aged 0 to 5 years old. I don't work bank holidays and I will take around 5 weeks holiday a year but will let parents know of these well in advance. I currently have Wednesday, Thursday and Friday full days available for eyfs children and have a waiting list for other days if you'd like to be added. I am also available for holiday care for older children although this is nearly fully booked for 2023. I do however still have space for after school pick ups from Fakenham school which is £15 from 3.15 til 5.30 including dinner.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I charge £5 per hour or £45 for full day care. I provide breakfast, snacks, dinner and drinks but ask that you provide a packed lunch for your child for lunchtime. I also off after school pick up for £15 3.15-5.30 including dinner.
