About Me
My name is Sally I'm 54 years old and live in Oulton Broad with my husband and 2 small over friendly dogs. I have 3 children and 7 grand children so plenty of hands on experience. I have been Ofsted registered since August 2020 to care for children of all ages within my home and within the childs(rens) home.
My curriculum is inclusive to all children and families,aiming to set the environment to meet the children's interests and individual specific needs.
My setting is very much child-led play activities planned around the seasons, with ongoing natural resources for the children to connect with nature.
My curriculum includes a flexible daily routine with free flow play alongside some adult guided activities, providing real life experiences to learn new skills.
Regular outings are arranged including meeting up with other settings to support children's learning, linking it with their current interests.
My aim is to raise the outcomes for children to be independent and confident skillful learners that challenge themselves.
I have a fully enclosed garden full of learning experiences, lots of natural loose parts, balancing and stepping logs, an art and craft play summerhouse, a log cabin full of activities or just to relax in.
There is indoor play activities and lots more to keep the children busy while learning.
I provide the children with lots of fun outings term time and school holidays outside of the setting.
My Experience
10 years experience in childminding between 2003 to 2015 and proud to say that my last inspection in 2011 I was awarded with outstanding.
My Qualifications
