I love being outdoors and taking part in all kinds of activities. In my free time, I studied hip-hop and contemporary dance, and I taught this discipline to children and teenagers for a few years.
My Experience
My first experience with children has been as a Children Entertainer, at the age of 16. I immediately discovered a strong interest and passion working with kids. Right after graduating in high school, I applied for a position offered by the Italian Civil Service, and after a long hiring process, I finally started working in a Nursery (1-3 years old) for one year. This job experience gave me the confidence and skills to go into education, and I dedicated the following year to study and successfully gained a Diploma of Higher Education as an "Early Childhood Educator".
After 6 months into my studies, I started a traineeship in a Kindergarten-Nursery (1-3 years old) that lasted 6 months, after which I got hired for another 6 months. Once qualified and ended my contract, I started working as an Afterschool-Nanny for two siblings, Gabriele and Carlotta, respectively 3 and 2 years old. My main duties were:
-Take the kids from school
-Prepare the lunch
-Keep the kitchen and house tidy at all times
-Making sure they had their afternoon nap
-Entertain them with games
-Helping them having a bath/shower
-Making dinner
-Bed time
I also occasionally drove them to the beach or to have a walk in the park.
Then, I started working as a Full-Time Live-Out Nanny for another child, Alessandro (3 years old). After that, I started working for one year with a 3 years old child, Francesco, who had severe behavioral disturbances and needed professional care. During this time, I worked in close contact with an entire team of Behavioral Professionists (Psychologyst, Speech Therapist, Pet Therapist) to follow a certain Rehabilitation Path on a daily basis. I had a role as an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Technician.
Following that job, I worked for the next 3 years as a Full-Time Children Playground's Manager Assistant. I organised and managed the Baby Parking, made sure the kids were following the rules and were safe at all times, providing assistance when needed.
