My Summary

My Experience

During my gap year, I moved to Florida to help with a family of four young girls in the process of moving to England. My days consisted of getting the girls ready in the morning, accompanying them on days out, many nappy changes, resolving disagreements and of course, having a lot of fun. Immediately after this, I became a nanny to a four year old girl, picking her up from school, assisting her with her homework and ensuring she had her evening meal. This was for 8 months. I have also volunteered at my church creche and Sunday school over a space of about 3 years. From 2020 to 2022 I worked as a Nanny to two boys aged 5 and 3 (when I finished). It consisted of doing fun and educational activities with the youngest one, ensuring they are safe and looked after and picking up the eldest boy from school in the afternoons and feeding them dinner. Currently, since September, I work for a family in SE London looking after twin boys, aged 17 months. Although this feeling like a big step up, working full time and looking after two toddlers, it has been an amazing experience and I feel even more confident in my ability to provide safe and happy childcare. I also work for a Nannying Events business who provide childcare for events and private babysitting in Surrey and London. Through this company worked for a family in Godalming, since April 2022, helping to care for their one-year old daughter.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
