My Requirements

We are looking for a live-out nanny to look after our daughters and support with some light house work. We are looking for someone to work 30-45 hrs per week (Mon-Fri) starting part time in February and ramping up. Additional babysitting hours will also be available.

Lana is in full time nursery and Leia will be going 5 mornings a week to the same nursery. She is a happy baby, smiley and easy going.

We are looking for someone who can look after Leia 1-7 and Lana 5-7pm after nursery but also is flexible, given our jobs there are sometimes meetings in the evening and this may mean that some days you may need to do 1- 8pm or 1-6pm. Happy to offer more hours in addition to this if required.

Below is a list of what we are looking for and key responsibilities:
-Someone who can speak a decent level of English and is well spoken.
-Neither my husband or I smoke so would only like non-smokers
-Some experience looking after babies for a few years; ideally having spent more than a couple of years at a time with each family
-Must have a passion for childcare and take initiative – we want someone who has the capacity to love and cherish Lana and Leia almost as much as we do, who will nurture and encourage her development; ideally some formal training too but not critical
-Ideally should spend time both teaching and playing including reading, singing, drawing/painting and helping them discover new experiences through sensory play, arts and crafts.
-Lana is in full time nursery, we will usually do drop offs in the morning but will need support with pickups. Lana will be starting reception in September and her school will require a commute for pick-ups so a drivers license would be super helpful.
-Depending on my schedule you will need to help to get Lana and Leia ready for bed and help with Bath time in the evening
-Must be able to cook healthy food for her and if time allows cooking a meal for the family (i.e. if I do dinner and bath time with Lana and Leia you may have time to make a meal for the family)
-Be responsible for keeping the kids clothes and bedding clean, toys tidy as well as cooking and preparing their Lunch and Dinner and cleaning up after meal times. Generally be expected to keep the house tidy and put away toys after play
-Be happy to undertake some light household duties while looking after Leia (eg. fill dishwasher, put in the laundry, do a quick hoover if the lounge needs it, go grocery shopping for anything needed etc.)
