About Me
I’m Izzy, I’m 22 and currently a part-time student in my last year at uni. I am studying Forensic Psychology, but seen as I am a part-time student I have a lot of free time/availability. I am living in Worcester and I have my own car (clean driving license for just over 4 years) with plenty of room for car seats, so I am also happy to do school runs/pick ups.

My Experience
I have experience in looking after vulnerable individuals. Although I have no experience of babysitting yet, I have years of experience caring for someone with special needs. My brother has autism which has made him unable to communicate through speech and reliant on others to look after him (e.g. feed him, get his clothes ready for him, tell him when to get dressed, drive him around) therefore I have a lot of experience in caring for an individual who relies on me.
I also worked for a horse riding school for a few years before coming to University. The riding school hosted riding lessons/activities for children/young adults with special needs. I was responsible for supervising the children and making sure they were happy and safe around the horses, I would also attend their riding lessons and guide horses for them so I would have to consistently communicate with them a lot even when they couldn’t necessarily communicate back very clearly. Therefore I think this experience would make me a good babysitter for children of all ages.
My Qualifications
Although I have no official qualifications my experience in working with disabled children at a horse riding school has set me up with some good skills for looking after children/vulnerable people. I also have a first aid qualification.
