About Me
Hi,I am an ofsted registered childminder,I have been childminding since 2011.I moved to oxford from Leicester in 2007 when I married my husband john,we had our daughter in 2009 and this is when I decided to become a childminder after 17 years of being a Nanny.We live in a quiet cul de sac in blackbird leys near to pegasus primary school.I provide a happy and calm home from home environment,where I encourage learning through play,both through child and adult led activities.I attend weekly toddler groups to get the balance of a social setting and home environment.I also encourage outdoor play and enjoy going on nature walks.
My Experience
I have my city and guilds in caring for children 0-5,and became a nanny in 1992 in Leicester and continued this career when I moved to oxford until the birth of our child in 2009.i began childminding in 2011 and have experience of looking after children from newborn to primary school age.I attend regular training courses to keep my knowledge of the EYFS updated.
