About Me
I am an aspiring Art therapist with a nurturing and creative approach when providing support. I believe in creative, and innovative solutions when problems arise, and I have a true passion for helping individuals with special needs, or those who are considered to have complex needs.
I am able to work with a person centered approach, putting the individual of who I am supporting at the heart of every decision made. I would describe myself as creative, active and understanding.
My Experience
I have experience supporting those with learning disabilities, and sensory needs. This is where my passion lies. I have been able to successfully implement short term and long term plans, and I feel that I have acquired a strong sense of my own emotional intelligence in order to understand the needs and emotions of others.
I also have experience as a Learning support assistant, where I have had to build a strong and trusting rapport with primary school aged students, and help them achieve their educational goals. Therefore, I am willing to help with homework, and would feel confident in doing so.
I have also looked after 2 boys aged 10 and 11 on and off for the past 4 years staying with them in their home and picking them up from after school clubs.

Health and Social Care NVQ Level 3. (2020)
Foundation certificate in Art therapy. (2019)
My Availability
I will have a lot of free time at the end of June for the summer holidays. On average I will have 4/5 days each week free.
