About Me
An early childhood professional with a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies and seven years experience working with babies and children of all ages and children with SEND. I am passionate about providing positive early childhood experiences, equipping children with self-regulation skills and teaching growth mindset. I have extensive knowledge of children's and young people's learning, play, the EYFS and SEND. Previously was a SENDCo working in Alternative Provision, working with young people with a range of SEND that thrive outside of mainstream education in a mentoring/teaching capacity. Currently providing one to one respite for families of children with SEND within Warwickshire.
My Experience
I have been working with children for around eight years. My career began in nurseries where I completed an apprenticeship where I discovered working with children is my passion, so decided to get my degree in Early Childhood Studies. During my time at University I worked in a variety of settings and discovered a passion for SEND. I was a working childcare practitioner throughout my degree and became a room leader and SENDCo upon completing, before moving to working in Alternative Provision where I was the SENDCo and an Education Mentor for a wide range of children with varying levels of SEND and SEMH needs. I have extensive knowledge of learning and cognition, play, the EYFS, SEND and attachment having worked with a variety of children and young people over the years

My Availability
I am currently working in a school during term time, but am open to nannying opportunities over the summer holidays on an ad-hoc basis.
