Hi my name is Jamie Leigh, I am Level 3 qualified early years practitioner. I am DBS checked and hold my paediatric first aid certificate. I currently work as a practitioner in a nursery. I am extremely passionate about caring for children, with a natural kind and caring nature. I have daily experience in meeting the needs of individual children and the expectations of parents. I understand and emphasise the importance of positive relationships with children and parents. I enjoy the outdoors and the amazing benefits it gives to our mental and physical health!, I am not reluctant to get messy and muddy!

I have experience in a nursery and childminding setting. From these settings I have gained lots of knowledge and experience on caring for children. I am currently working as a practitioner in a childminder's setting,
my role includes: safeguarding children, planning and implementing activities to support their learning and development, supporting individual care routines (nappy changing, hygiene, eating, etc.) and much much more!
My Qualifications
I hold my Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification. I have my paediatric first aid certificate and food hygiene certificate. My GCSE qualifications include a B in English Language and C in maths.
