About Me
Hello! My name is Bene. I have worked in care/childcare for four years.
I studied film production at university and love anything creative; film, music, drama and art. I grew up in Caterham in Surrey.
My Experience
I worked for a charity called Challengers for two years. Challengers is a playgroup for anyone aged 6-25 with complex disabilities and learning difficulties. I was a Youth Worker and worked mainly with young people aged 11-18. We organised day trips and indoor activities suitable for any ability. Many other responsibilities included manual handling, safeguarding, toileting and lots and lots of play. It was a very challenging job and inspired me to continue working in care.
I moved to Denmark and became a live-in au pair for a young family with two children. Their children were 18 months old and three months old. I cared for both of the children whilst the parents were working. I regularly took the older child to and from daycare by car or bike.
I have been a self-employed nanny since June 2021. I have worked for families from all over the UK from many different backgrounds. I have cared for children ages ranging from 1 to 10 years old.
I promote child-led play and inclusive learning. I am all about encouragement (as long as it's safe!) and allowing the child to explore rather than holding them back.
I have all the experience needed to be able to entertain and enrich the life of any child under my care.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
£15/hr for 1-2 children.
£20/hr for 3-4 children.
£10/hr for nights (bedtime onwards)

Bene was unfortunately with us for a very short time but had been wonderful with the boys- they got along well with her straight away and loved having her around.
She was always punctual, cleaned up and offered to help with chores that were outside her role.
