About Me
Creative Minds Childminding had its first Care Inspectorate inspection in June 2022 and was graded as Good in all areas. The service accepts children from the age of 30 months to 11 years. Both before and after school / nursery care is currently available as well as full day care on certain days.

My service is a bespoke service and I work with each parent to put together a package that meets the needs of each child as well as those of other children attending at the same time.
There is a dedicated play room where there are regular 'invitations to play' and loose parts available to help encourage each child to explore play at their own pace. For children who have had a busy day at school there is a living room to relax in and also a separate quiet seated area where homework can be completed.
Activities are planned appropriate to the time of year.
As children learn through exploring the world around them I provide as varied an outdoor package as possible based around the session time that a child is with me. This includes visits to local woods and parks along with visits to museums and beaches as agreed with parents and within reasonable travelling distance. As with the indoor environment, all outdoor activities are risk assessed prior to taking place.
My Experience
Creative Minds Childminding has been up and running since June 2021 and in June 2022 received the grading Good after its first Care Inspectorate inspection. Prior to that I regularly looked after the children of family and friends on an informal basis.

My Availability
School term weekdays 7am to 6pm with the possibility of negotiable school holiday and weekend dates on an ad hoc basis.
School Pick Ups and Drop Off's can be discussed for Galston Primary and Newmilns Primary. Also possible from St Andrew's Primary in Kilmarnock for P1 - P3 on days I am picking up / dropping off my son. Nursery Pick Ups and Drop offs from Galston and Newmilns can also be discussed. Full day care can be discussed for certain days.
