About Me
Welcome to Brockley Buds! I’m an Ofsted Registered childminder with 22 years of childcare experience. I also have Chloe & Cathy who are childminding assistant. Chloe has 6 years early years experience and cathy has many years experience working with children. We will be offering childcare in a warm, welcoming home which we will be providing in a safe, stimulating and friendly environment. The setting is a three bedroom family home with a spacious garden based in Crofton Park. We have a friendly cat, Jasper, who is used to having children around.
We have two playrooms dedicated to childminding where the children can enjoy a huge variety of resources to suit all ages. We have lots of wooden toys and real-life items/natural materials encouraging the children to use their imagination. We love seeing children’s natural curiosity spark and watching them invent new ways of playing. We encourage messy play and enjoy creating small worlds for the children to lose themselves in.
We have a spacious garden which includes a recycled water wall, recycled music area, a secret den and of course... a mud kitchen!
We spend lots of time in the great outdoors and are fortunate to be surrounded by plenty of parks. We are regulars at Hornimans Museum, local playgroups and love a woodland walk.
Parents get daily observations and photos to show achievements and a termly newsletter about what we plan on learning that term. Fees include three meals a day, including a home cooked evening meal.
We will provide your children with a safe and nurturing environment allowing them to have lots of fun, make new friends and build a strong foundation in their early years.
We had our ofsted inspection August 2023 and received a Good grade. We can send full ofsted report to prospective parents or it is available to view on ofsteds website.
Our recent ofsted inspection was 16/08/2023 and we received "Good" grade. Our inspection report is on ofsteds inspections on their website.
My Experience
I have 22years childcare experience from 0-12years old. I have worked as a room leader in a private day nursery and also ran a playgroup and for the last 15 years a professional Nanny and a play specialist.
Chloe has 6 years early years experience as a nanny.
Cathy has worked as a childminder and has done babysitting.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£75 daily rate 8am-6pm.
£45 half a day 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm.
