About Me
Hey Parents/Carers, my name is Chloe.
I currently work in a primary school, as a supply teacher and manager of the after school club.
I am a designed safeguarding officer for the primary school too. So I deal with complications, supporting families and caring for children with complex needs daily.
I believe I am a very caring and loving person, working with children is all I’ve ever wanted. I would consider myself as a very confident, creative, organised and trustworthy person.
I have a niece and nephew who are under the age of 5 and both profoundly deaf (with cochlear implants).
Being an auntie to them both, they have made me even more open minded and patient. As a family, we are learning BSL (British Sign Language) to support them.
My Experience
I have 7 years experience in childcare. I am very loyal and have stayed in the same setting for those 7 years, with a variety of job roles. The age range is between 3-11.
However, I have an extremely large family and being the eldest grandchild, I have had the opportunity of babysitting younger siblings and cousins.
I have 2 god children, whose parents are continually asking for my help and professional advice on development etc.
I am happy to work with all age ranges, including newborn, toddler, and primary school age. I have plenty of experience within all those ages listed.
My Qualifications
Educational / childcare degree
(University of Greenwich)
Health and social care BTEC
A*-C in: English, Maths, Science, Art, Psychology, RE, PE, PE BTEC.
Many childcare qualifications including: first aid, designed safeguarding officer, child protection, mental health in young people, fire safety, food hygiene & allergens, equality & diversity and COVID-19 protection.
