About Me
My son 3 (4 in October), absolutely loves his Montessori nursery and I adore it too. It's taken me a long time to feel ready to leave him and return to work so finding the right person/setting to help in the summer holidays is really important to me.
My son is very active and physically confident so I encourage that with lots of bike riding and outdoor adventures. He loves music and movement, making new friends, helping in the kitchen and talking for England ??.
My Requirements
I'm exploring our options for the summer holidays. We live in Torquay but I work in Newton Abbot (Heathfield) so someone in either location would work.
I work from 9.30am - 3pm Tuesday & Wednesday so I'm looking to cover these days. Though for the right setting, I could change my working days between Tues/Wed & Thur. He has gymnastics Mondays and can go to my mum on Fridays should I acquire more hours at work.
My son is 3 so is entitled to 30hrs a week funded child care (premium pupil) but we currently only use about 20 of those. So stretching the funding would leave 20 hours for the holidays which works out perfectly.
He attends a Montessori setting so I'm looking for someone who follows a similar ethos, lots of open ended play, focus on co-regulation and attachment & gentle teaching/parenting focused on age appropriate skills and development.
