Hello. My name is Katherine. I have lived and worked in and around St Albans for most of my life. I am a mother of two beautiful children. My daughter Maddison is 17 and my son Sonny is 9.
My Experience
I have been in childcare for 25 years. I started out in a Nursery, then went into a live in Nanny job. From there, I did two temp nanny jobs, followed by what turned into a 20 year nanny job! Yes, 20 years! Madness! Literally half my life!
Sadly, the day was always going to come, that the children would grow old enough to no longer need me in the same way. Both myself and my children are all very much part of the family. I feel very lucky and fortunate to have been able to be such a long fulfilling role in the children’s lives.
I have since worked a temp role with a wonderful German family, and their 10 months old son. Sadly they relocated to another country, but we keep in contact which is lovely.
I am now in a role Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
I am available Mondays only. From April 2023.
Experience with newborn to teen, as well as Twin experience, ADHD experience and NG experience

I am Paediatric First Aid Trained
