I work at a SEMH school and finish at 15:30 Monday - Thursday and 14:00 on Fridays, the school is in Knowle so depending on where you are located I would be able to start from roughly 16:00 and 14:30 on a Friday. On my weekends I work as a support worker but my employers are very flexible so I can be available some weekends if need be! I am also more than happy to work more hours during school holidays as children will of course be at home more. My rates are negotiable and we can discuss how many days a week would be needed! I am patient, caring and willing to put my all into giving your child/children the best care. I can drive and own my own car. My main goal with a career is to work with children, being 19 I believe whilst also providing a safe and nurturing personality to your child I will also be able to offer relatability and understanding. I can cook, clean and full-fill all your childcare needs. I am happy to work with and have cared for children of all ages from new born to teens.
I have many passions, my main one being travel. My goal is to travel the world one day with a career that makes this possible. Working with kids has been what I’ve wanted to do since I can remember. Please feel free to message me for a chat! :)
My Experience
I have experience babysitting and nannying long term and short term for multiple families with children ranging from new borns to 15 years old.
I currently work as a teaching assistant at a SEMH primary school working with children ageing between 5 - 11. The children I work with have a variety of different personality’s and needs. I also work as a support worker part time for children and young people aged 6 - 18 with a variety of special needs ranging from very mild to very severe impacts on life primarily on a 1-1 basis but also in group settings.
I also have other care experience such as a range of voluntary work and being a carer for older adults.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 extended diploma in health and social care. I have a GCSE in Psychology along with my Maths, English and Science as-well as 4 other GCSEs. I have paediatric and adult first aid training. I have manual handling, food safety and SEN training.
