About Me
My name is Lucinda. I am a part time nanny, emergency babysitter based in Barking and Dagenham, East London. I do not have any children however it has been my dream to work with children in all sectors.
I am currently studying Psychology, Sociology and Health and Social Care at a Level 3 to then go on to train and become a midwife.
Working with children is my passion and I have been doing it for many years with many families and individuals. I have done research and also taken extra online courses that has to do with childcare development, their requirements and more information on infants as a whole.
I have the right documents to prove my right to work in the UK.
I work part time so that would be up to 25 hours a week however i would be willing to cater to the requirements you need. That differs between weekdays and occasional weekends depending on flexibility and what would be best for the children.
I work with all ages as i have experience from Newborns all the way up the adolescent.
I do not drive however i can manoeuvre using public transport or a taxi if necessary.
My Experience
I have worked with children for a while, i have volunteered at nurseries, playgroups etc. I also worked as a part time babysitter where i would pick the children up from school and help them with homework, bath time and bedtime. I am fully experienced in newborn, toddler care , making food if required , helping with bath time, reading , any activities such as going to the park, painting , colouring etc.
I would be more than happy to assist with taking the children for day outs during the summer time.
I am going to do a placement very soon at a nursery so i can gain more experience of how infants are at school and what it takes to be a nursery worker, this will help me in my plans for midwifery.
My Qualifications
10 GCSE’s at a 5+ and A level Level 3 Health and Social Care.
My Availability
During term time , I am available on the weekdays from 3:30-4pm onwards to 8-9pm. These times can be changed to match the parents needs.
During school holidays, i am also available from around 10am-5pm,6pm latest. This can also be modified to suit the parents needs.
I can also do occasional weekends considering it is flexible and works for both of us.
