My Summary

My Experience

I am level 3 qualified and I am currently working in a nursery which is where I’ve been working for the past 2 years. During my time at my nursery I have gained experience and knowledge with children from 8 months to 4 years. I have been bases in 3 rooms I started in Preschool, which is 3/4 years old, where I learned lots about letters and sounds programs and school readiness programs. I made the decision to move to the 2/3 years room to further expand my knowledge. Which I applied the programs I learned in preschool to this room to further prepare them for preschool. I also learned lots about SEN and supporting multiple children with additional needs. I also learned a lot about potty training and how to identify when children are ready for potty training and how to support them with that transition. I then had a promotion to Deputy room leader/ assistant Room manager and I also moved into my current room which is for children ages 1-2. I made this decision to continue to challenge me in my childcare career and to expand my knowledge of the younger ages. I also have experience in our baby room, looking after children from 8 months old and supporting them with the 3 main areas of development to prepare them for my current room which we work on lots of independence and confidence in doing things for themselves. I feel that I am now ready to explore a new path in my career I am looking to a Nannying career. previous to my Nursery Job I was in college for 3 years gaining lots of knowledge and experience through placements in nursery’s, pre schools and schools.

My Qualifications

I have a level 2 early years childcare qualification and a level 3 early years educator qualification. I have also done lots of additional courses through my nursery such as safeguarding, encouraging positive behaviour and many more courses. I have my first aid training which I did 2 years ago.

My Availability

I am currently still working 8-6 at my nursery so I’ll be available at weekends and occasionally after work too. However if you’re interested in hiring me as a nanny I would be available full time or 3/4 days for the right family. I can also offer over night if needed occasionally. My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

For babysitting for a few hours I charge £10 per hour. If it is for the day I have a flat rate of £100.
Nannying rates may differ but roughly £15 an hour if wanting to employ full time we can discuss a salary which works best for myself and the right family.
