My name is Poppy, I am 19 years old and I am about to start a French degree at St Andrews in September. I'm friendly, kind and enthusiastic. I enjoy being creative by doing lots of arts and crafts. I love baking and especially sharing this passion with younger children. I am reliable and caring. I'm passionate about learning about other cultures and spending time with friends and family.
My Experience
For my gap year I was an au pair in France. During this time I looked after children after school ranging from two to thirteen. We did make believe games, arts and crafts, board games and lots of playing outside. I prepared meals and took control of bath time with lots of stories and games. I also worked in a Montessori nursery for a bit during the summer and I absolutely loved it. It was very child orientated and it was interesting to watch the children grow individually.
My Qualifications
I have a lot of experience working with many different types of children, from all different ages. I have experience with children with learning difficulties and I would be able to help with homework.
My Availability
I will be able to be a lot more specific once I have my university timetable but I'm looking to doing some work after school and on the weekends, with maybe some overnight shifts if needed.
