Hello, my name is Eleanor.
I am 24 years old and I am from England, but I currently live in Scotland in the United Kingdom. I am relocating to London- (June 2024)
I have over five years of experience as a qualified Early Years Practitioner, I have worked in nurseries and domestic environments and gained lots of experience in helping children learn and develop.
I am a friendly and fun person who is very caring and responsible. I love to cook and try food from different cultures. I currently do not drive but enjoy being outdoors, creating fun activities for children and using creativity to learn through experiences. I am an animal lover and have experience caring for and looking after family pets having had dogs and cats myself.
I have lived on my own and been independent for six years. I am very capable of managing and running a home well and understand how to multi-task and maintain a safe, clean home for any children in my care. I have been trained in paediatric first aid.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for over 5 years, working with all ages from 1 to 10 years.
I have worked in private and council/school nurseries within the 3 to 5 age groups.
I gained experience in caring for children aged from 1 year to 10 years as the nursery provided day care for younger children, as well as an after school club for primary age children.
I have also had experience working in a classroom setting in a Year 1 classroom implementing activities for the children to develop their learning and supporting children with additional support needs.
Whilst working within a nursery I babysat at the weekends and weekdays after work, and have experience as a part-time live-out nanny whilst completing my University studies.
I have had the chance to gain experience with children with additional support needs particularly children with autism volunteering in ASN groups, and providing fun activities and games.
