My Summary

My Experience

I have studied childcare in college, during this time I completed placement hours in a nursery setting and a mainstream school setting. Once I had completed my college course, I was offered a job role in lunchtime supervision which I went on to do for a few months. After this position I also spent some of the half term holidays in clubs such as summer camps and winter camps as part of the Bring It On Brum campaign, this is where I was able to carry out my own activities with groups of children with ages ranging from 3/4 to 10/11. I set up fun activity such as netball games, sports activities, craft activities and many more. From this and my placement at the Primary school they offered me a job role as an Learning Support Assistant, which I have carried out for the last year. I have been working in the nursery of the primary school with 3/4 year olds helping to support their learning by creating fun age appropriate activities and always ensuring they have a good time whilst learning. I have also created fun games for lunchtime such as “Bear hunt” which the children love. During my year at the school I have also carried out interventions with SEN children one to one, and also other interventions with children in year 1 and 2 for reading and writing.

My Qualifications

Level 3 childcare Diploma which I received through solihull college.

My Availability

I work in a primary school so therefore I start work at 8:30 and finish at 3:30. I would be available from 5:00pm to around 11:00pm
