My name is Megan, I am 24 years old and I love working with children. I have a strong passion for childcare and love to help children learn new skills.
I also understand the importance of working closely with the parents.
I have recently became a nanny working in and around South Gloucestershire area but I am willing to travel Bristol and Bath areas.
In my spare time I like to meal prep, go out for walks and socialise with friends.
I also enjoy taking my 8 and 3 year old cousins out on day trips.
3 days a week I attend the gym as this helps me to reflect on my past days.
I also go swimming twice a week to socialise with friends and set myself targets each week so that I can better myself.
I am a very bubbly, kind and loving person who will provide a comforting environment for your child. I am also a very organised person and an excellent communicator.

My Experience
Previously I have worked in a nursery caring for children aged 3 months to 4 years, whilst I did spend most of my time with the pre-school children, I understand about all ages. I was at my previous job for 6+ years and enjoyed helping and watching the children to grow and learn. I had many responsibilities which include managing snack times, nappy changing routines, sleep routines and keeping track of the children's development using the Early Years Foundation Stage. I would liaise with parents/carers of children about their child's progress and about their day and any concerns I may have to discuss. I would always follow policies and procedures to make sure all the children were kept safe.
I am a nanny for a 2 year old and a 6 month old baby.
My role includes creating learning opportunities such as helping prepare breakfast and lunch. Also I work around the child's interest and will set up activities according to this. We also attend various playgroups to socialise with others as this helps the child to build friendships.
During nap times I am happy to help with household duties such as washing up and cooking meals, vacuuming etc.
We also like going out on day trips to the farm, zoo and swimming. Also attending baby group one day a week for socialisation.

Level 3 NVQ in childcare
First aid trained (16th October 2021)
Full uk driving licence
4 GCSE C and above
