I have worked in various child care settings and studied for the relevant qualifications in order to pursue a career working with children.
I am easy to get along with and am able to build relationships with people quickly, if you need extra help with caring for your little one's I'd be happy to assist.
I have a full driving liscence and own my own car.
My Experience
I have worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school based in foundation stage with children aged 3-5, I thouroughly enjoyed my job as a teaching assistant, assisting children with their learning and personal development in fun and exciting ways. In this position I worked with children who had additional needs; speech impairment, hearing impairment, ADHD, Language barriers.
During my studies at University I worked in various nurseries through an agency, working with children aged from 6months - 5 years.
I have volunteered as a mentor with the charity Mentor Link and have worked with children of primary school age who were experiencing problems in the classroom.
I have also cared for friend's children when required, having the sole care of the children for the day and occasionally overnight.
