Ladybugs is an intimate warm & nurturing home environment creating magical moments through play & learning.
My name is Jenny, I am the proud owner of Ladybugs based in Old Roan/Aintree Liverpool. I am a registered childminder an Ofsted approved childminder agency which has received Ofsted's highest grading.
Our ladybugs has the benefit of our large outdoor area consisting of our large summerhouse/outdoor classroom, water run table, mud kitchen area, vegetable patch and free flow garden including other activities. The setting has a large 7 seaters car to enable us to head out daily to explore Including Knowsley safari Park, Farms, Forest schools etc making these fun filled days.
This setting is located close to train/bus links with access near M57/M58 routes.
Our children will also take part in rhyme time singing songs and reading stories as part of our daily rhythm along with morning outings, meeting friends and visits to libraries and local parks with lots more learning adventures to be added (all costs included in the price)
With ladybugs being a small intimate setting it positively promotes a greater 1:1 interaction with children building trusting relationships with children, parents/carers offering a holistic approach to each child.
Ladybugs will be observed throughout there learning & development and the curriculum will be structured around there interests and the EYFS framework. I love to promote an independent approach to learning, being creative and children gaining confidence but learning through play, discovery and exploring is my main aim.
Parents will receive Daily updates of there ladybugs learning and development through there learning journals.
Ladybugs will have a daily routine which will include breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, sleep/rest time, afternoon snack followed by a light tea before being collected.
At ladybugs we offer a healthy well balanced diet supporting the time of rapid growth, development and activity and a weekly menu will be provided.

My Experience
I have 18 years experience with babies & young children (0- 16 Yrs). I consider myself a very well educated childcare professional with roles in private nurseries, Montessori nurseries, nannying and Alder Hey children's A&E department. Additional to my experience I have raised 2 lovely children of my own aged 4 and 14 years and loved every minute of everyday.
I have a great knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum and the early years foundation stage framework, having full understanding of child development milestones knowing ages & stages children should be aiming for and how to best support children and there abilities to meet there development needs.
This experience has given me the potential to open up my home as ladybugs Home Nursery and provide professional childcare to work closely with children and support families.

I would recommend Jenny and her home from home nursery. My son has settled so well with Jenny’s support and absolutely loves going to Ladybugs. He has so much fun but is learning and making new friends. Jenny provides a caring and safe environment.

Going to Jennys of a Monday is our Girl's happy place. Jenny has made this journey so reassuring and comforting for us and we know for sure that it's one of the best decisions we've ever made. Jenny is the most friendliest and kindest soul we've ever come across. The excitement on our daughters face when dropping her off makes us feel less guilty when going to work as we know she's having the best times and is in the safest hands. We are so thankful for ladybugs and honestly could not recommend the lovely Jenny enough ❤
