About Me
Hello! My name is Emily, I am 25 and a teaching assistant at a local school. I have a passion for child development and love how children learn crucial life skills through play. I have a four year old son who loves all things outdoors, so I’m not afraid to get muddy! I love messy, creative and educational play and always encourage children to learn, even if they don’t realise they are! I also am a parent myself and can understand how daunting it may be to leave your child with someone else, so anything I can do to make the transition easier for your family I will happily oblige!
My Experience
I have previous experience in a nursery setting working with children from newborn to 5. I currently work part time as a teaching assistant in a school, working with reception age children. I have a lot of experience babysitting for different aged children with different needs for the last 10 years. References are available on request.
My Qualifications
I am a Level 3 qualified Early Years Educator, I also hold a paediatric first aid certificate and a level 2 food hygiene certificate. I am also working towards a BA honours degree in Early Childhood Studies.
My Availability
My availability is most evenings in the week, including weekends. I can also offer half term or school holiday care in my own home.
