Hi I’m Jess,
I’m currently a live in nanny in the CR5 area and I’m available for evening babysitting in this area during the week. At the weekend I am in the BA11 area so I am free for babysitting.
Working with children is a very strong passion of mine and I see myself as a bubbly, loving, confident and calm person that is a natural when it comes to children.
I pride myself when it comes to confidentiality knowing how important it is in a childcare setting.
I really enjoying planning different activities for children such as, play dates, trips to the zoo, water play, messy play, picnics, feeding the ducks and playing at the park.
I am a confident cook and can prepare really nutritious and healthy meals for the children following their dietary requirements. I have lots of experience with fussy eaters so can sympathise with them and have lots of patience for them.
My Experience
I have worked in the childcare industry for over 6 years. I started by working in a nursery when I was 16 and completed my level 2 NVQ. I then went on to do my level 3 NVQ. While working in the nursery I looked after children aged 6 months-4 years old. I worked in the nursery industry for 5 years and gained lots of knowledge and undertook different courses while I was there. While working in the nursery I looked after a wide range of children including SEN children. I am now a live in nanny looking after G2 and B4.

Jess took excellent babysitting care of my two young children. They were very excited from the moment they met her, because Jess brings a tonne of friendly fun energy with just the right sprinkling of authority. She did both their bedtimes and respected their preferences.

Jess looked after our 9 month old daughter and was fantastic. Our baby warmed to her very quickly, and Jess managed to easily settle her when she was having a difficult time falling asleep. She was professional and friendly. We’d definitely recommend her!

Jess looked after our 3 children on our Frome holiday (3, 6, and 9 years old). She was warm, reliable , and extremely professional. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Jess was amazing with all three of our children B9, G6, G3. We came to Longleat for 3 nights and we were very lucky she was based locally and able to help babysit on our holiday.
She did arts and crafts and lego with the girls, took them all to the playground, played card and board games with our son - kept him off screens - prepared dinner; did the bed time routine and tucked them all in bed, safe and sound, for a great night’s sleep.
We highly recommend Jess and hope she’ll be able to work with our family again soon.
